Fundado em 2005, o Curso de Inverno de Direito Internacional, realizado anualmente pelo Centro de Direito Internacional, é um evento de renome internacional no meio acadêmico, que tem como objetivos estimular e qualificar a reflexão e o debate sobre os mais diversos temas do Direito Internacional.

Inspirado no Curso da Academia de Direito Internacional da Haia, o Curso é uma iniciativa pioneira do Centro de Direito Internacional e do Centro de Estudos em Direito e Negócios (CEDIN), em parceria com a Fundação Konrad Adenauer Estado de Derecho - Latinoamérica. Tal iniciativa visa aproximar os estudantes brasileiros e latino-americanos do Direito Internacional, por meio da tradição dos cursos de curta duração.
